Delicious Homemade Pizzas...it is fun and easy to make.

Do you want to make dinner at home with your family? Try the delicious homemade pizzas. They are fun and easy to make.

All you have to do is make the dough (recipe is on my other website: http://www.cookingenthusiast.blogspot.com/) ready for them to fill, set the oven to 500 degrees F, and tell them to cook their own pizza for 10 or 12 minutes depending on how they want it. Lay all the toppings: pepperoni, italian sausage, ham, sliced tomatoes and onions, mozzarella cheese, romano, parmegiano reggiano, and other delicious toppings.

Last night, my family had fun making their own pizza . One made a heart shape crust, while the other added more onion slices to get a tangier taste, and I made mine to share with my daughter with lots and lots of pepperoni and mozzarella cheese.

The gathering of all family members to share a home cooked meal is such a blessing, a lot of fun, and so easy to make.

Remembering Mom on Mother's Day

What's a better way of celebrating Mother's Day than remembering your mother and paying a tribute to all her unconditional love, sacrifices, unselfish and caring ways, together with your loved ones (not all of them) on this special day. Now that I have children of my own, I have come to realize that she was not an ordinary mother; she was a supermom. Looking back, I am amazed at how she was able to juggle her time between her work and her devotion to her kids when we were growing up. She became a widow at the age of 41, her second and last marriage (her first husband was a casualty of war). She remained unmarried until the day she died, unconcerned for the attention quite a few gentlemen had given her. Instead, her time was spent religiously on her obligations to raise her three daughters, and managed to send them to one of the best private schools in the country at that time. On her spare time, she volunteered to teach impoverished young women on home economics, f...

A Life's Work

A Life's Work "None of us are defined by our circumstances, nor are we defined by how other people perceive us. It is up to each one of us to define ourselves, and that is a life's work." "Each of us has the ability to lead a dynamic life by pursuing our unique goals and dreams. There are no limits to what we can do." the whole world is an opportunity; it is our work to make our imprints on the highway of life. an unlimited advantage chosen by a select few, not of power and money, fame, nor fortune. the select few never try to prove themselves, for they know who they are they are confident, not pretentious. they know where they come from and they know where they're going they are at peace with themselves and their surroundings they are whole and complete.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Wondering why Samantha's eyes are closed? She could hardly wait to eat the cookies and she said, "she's falling asleep because the cookies are taking too long to cook..". Samantha's 3rd Lesson in baking was making Chocolate Chip Cookies. She was so excited helping me gather all the ingredients and the baking tools we needed. We prepared everything on the table and she set the oven to 375degrees F. We also decided to use the portable mixer so she could get used to handling a mixer. The first time she handled the mixer, I told her "pretend you are the strongest girl on earth and control the mixer wherever you want it to go. Do not be afraid of it". Since then on, Samantha enjoys handling the mixer. Our cookies came out so delicious and everyone enjoyed it. Although it was a little sweet to me, the cookie turned out rich and delicious. Using premium butter gives it a rich flavor. Just the way we wanted it. All ovens are different. My advise to...
